Magento Setup Return-Path Email

Setting up the Return-Path in Magento should be one of the first things you do with a fresh Magento install.

This designates an email address for all bounce backs and failed emails. Alot of mail servers will use the SERVERS default email address which means you will never see your bounce or failed emails. So you will never know if there is a problem with getting your email delivered.

This is really simple to setup

Setting up Magneto's Return Path

Log into your Magento admin panel then go to:

System > Configuration > Advanced > System > Mail sending settings > Set return path > YES

Make sure you set this to a valid email address.

This should resolve problems such as system emails like registration, order notification and password recovery not getting to the customer too.
